Hi David. Bob Perkins with the American Association of Inside Sales Professionals. It is great to see you here at our annual leadership summit. We have had a great few days and we have all picked up a lot of tips. We have heard from a lot of great speakers.
I do want to circle back and talk a little bit specifically about Vorsight. As you know, we had Vorsight into our company, Merrill Corporation, and Steve Richard came in and presented a two day workshop on really what we call the first third of the sales cycle. Specifically, Steve brought in some tips and tactics that were brand new to my team. In fact, I can remember a quote from one of the sales reps, Beth Osslyn, and Beth came back after the first four hours of the session and told me, “You know Bob, I’ve learned things that I never knew before.” Now Beth, is probably one of the top inside sales reps I’ve worked with, has been through tons of training and she immediately put some of the tips to use to help her prospect.
I’ll have Steve at Vorsight back again. We hope that they continue, that you all continue to raise the bar on your own training and find new and improved ways to help the industry of inside sales raise the bar on professionalism and performance. Thanks!
